U-ball live: Antonio Conte is furious at Tottenham hotspur’s transfer activity

U-ball live: Tottenham hotspur manager Antonio Conte is not happy with premier League clubs’ January transfer deals, claiming they weaken his team.Four players left Tottenham hotspur in January, with Dele Ali, Tangi Ndombele, Brian Gill and Giovanni Loselso all leaving the London outfit. The two players brought in were Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Pentancour, who both joined the club from Serie A giants Juventus for a combined transfer fee of 70 million euros.Conte hit out at Tottenham’s transfer business, telling Sky Sports Italia: “What happened in January was not easy.We lost four players in January.Tottenham have four important players and we have only brought in two.Conte went on to mention the damage the Windows were doing to tottenham, saying: “So, even in terms of numbers alone, we don’t strengthen the team, we weaken the team on paper.Bentancour and Kucusevski are ideal prospects for Tottenham as they are looking for young players who can develop and grow rather than ready players. That’s the problem.”Conte highlighted the club’s reluctance to sign experienced players in particular, which should concern Tottenham hotspur fans.He added that the club’s vision did not match his, saying: “It’s the vision and philosophy of the club.Inevitably, if you want to grow faster, if you want to be competitive faster, you need experienced players because they also raise the experience level of the whole team. But I say again, I now realise that this is the vision of the club. These are signs that Conte has problems with the Spurs front office.During his previous stints at Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan, he was given funding and projects to match his vision of immediate success. That doesn’t seem to be the case for the Spurs, as Conte is aware of the magnitude of the challenge ahead.
